Zatoichi is a blind swordsman, who makes his living as a gambler and masseur as he wanders the countryside. When he happens into a town control by a vicious gang, he meets two geishas who are attempting to avenge their parents' death. Zatoichi takes pity on the two, and resolves to not only help the two geishas, but free the town from the gang's vile clutches as well.
